Handmade in BK is where I’ll chronicle my effort to make everything in my wardrobe. I’m slowly swapping out my store-bought wardrobe with items I make.
Another goal is to become an expert seamstress. I love couture garments; I spend hours poring over pictures and drinking in the details and I want to incorporate that type of precision in my work.
I’ll also occasionally write about two of my other hobbies: millinery and shoemaking.
I have a way to go but I’m looking forward to the day when I can open my closet door and say “Yep, I made everything in there.”
